In twilight’s hush, where shadows play,
The forest awakens, night’s sweet sway,
The trees, like sentinels of earth and sky,
Stand guard, their leafy branches whispering by.
The wind, a gentle zephyr, stirs and sighs,
As petals unfold, and flowers meet the skies,
Their sweet perfume, a heady, intoxicating treat,
Fills lungs with joy, and hearts with love’s sweet beat.
In morning’s golden light, the world’s reborn,
As sunrise paints the horizon, vibrant, sworn,
The stars fade out, like embers of a fire,
As dawn’s warm touch ignites the heart’s desire.
The rivers flow, like lifeblood through the land,
Quenching thirst, and nourishing the sand,
Their gentle song, a melody so pure and sweet,
Echoes through the valleys, where wild things meet.
The mountains stand, like titans, strong and proud,
Their peaks a challenge, to the brave and loud,
Their slopes a haven, for the wild and free,
A sanctuary, where spirits can roam and be.
The oceans roar, like thunder in the distance,
A soothing serenade, a lullaby of resistance,
Their waves crash strong, on shores of sand and stone,
A testament to power, that’s both fierce and unknown.
In nature’s realm, we find our peaceful nest,
A sense of belonging, to the earth’s grand quest,
A feeling of connection, to the land and sea,
A sense of wonder, that’s wild and carefree.
The creatures roam, like magic, wild and free,
A testament to diversity, in harmony,
From majestic eagles, to the humblest bee,
Each plays its part, in nature’s grand symphony.
The seasons turn, like pages of a book,
A story of renewal, of life and death’s dark hook,
The cycle of birth, growth, decay, and rebirth,
A reminder of the beauty, that’s found on this earth.
In autumn’s hue, the leaves turn golden bright,
A final dance, before the winter’s chilly night,
The trees stand tall, like skeletons, bare and grey,
A reminder of the cycle, that’s here to stay.
In winter’s snow, the world is pure and white,
A blanket of silence, that covers all in sight,
The trees stand still, like frozen statues, cold and grey,
A season of quiet, in a world that’s gone astray.
In spring’s awakening, the world is fresh and new,
A time of hope and promise, for me and you,
The trees regain, their vibrant hue and might,
A season of renewal, in the warm sunlight.
In summer’s heat, the world is alive and bright,
A time of adventure, of freedom and delight,
The sun shines strong, with a warm and loving light,
A season of joy, in the beauty of the night.
In nature’s realm, we find our peaceful place,
A sense of connection, to the earth’s grand pace,
A feeling of belonging, to the land and sea,
A sense of wonder, that’s wild and carefree.
So let us cherish, this gift we’ve been given,
This earth, this home, this haven, where we live and breathe,
Let us protect it, with all our might and will,
For the future’s sake, and the beauty that’s still.
For in nature’s realm, we find our greatest treasure,
A sense of awe and wonder, that’s beyond all measure,
A connection to the earth, that’s deep and true,
A sense of belonging, to something greater than me and you.
